Time and development passes on. Unfortunately, the content of this website wasn’t updated in the past. Therefore, I had a look over most of the pages and updated at least the mayor information like the broken download links. Nevertheless, the most current information on 1914 development can be found in our forums.

I added a little F.A.Q.-list to the Documentation which deals with the most important questions concerning 1914. This list will be updated when other common problems occur. Please have a look into the list for an answer before asking questions in our forum. Thanks!

With the latest Developement-Beta, the 1914 project uses WW1-related sprites for Airunits and tanks for the first time. If you have more/better sprites, please let us know.

After some discussions, the Mod-Team has decided to represent parts of the British Empire as puppet nations instead of national territory. This affects all areas with Dominion-status. Therefore, in the upcoming 0.43 release, the following countries will be added:

• New Zealand
• Canada
• South Africa
• Newfoundland
• Australia

Developers, which like to contribute to the 1914 project now can use two Online-Generators to get the right ID-Range for their Event/Minister/Leader-file. Please note that these Generators do NOT generate a list of free IDs. This means you have to check the appropriate file and see which IDs are not used at present.
